Walking

The path starts from the ferry port and goes along the waterfront to the ancient part of the town Kut.

Then, it goes east, following the agricultural bended agricultural path through the spacious gully, up the hill, partly touching serpentines of the newly built asphalted road with which the path is connected on a saddle .

One macadam road that leads to the landfills and further to the fortification Wellington, separates here, while our path continues along the asphalted road, about 10-15 minutes of hiking along the edge of the vineyard Veliko Zlo Polje.
On the sharp right corner take the macadam road; after about several hundred meters you will come to the abandoned barrack. First go shortly along the barrack, then sharply right - cut the field and continue the way along wide- field road. Having arrived to the edge of the field, follow the path to the top of Kazel. About 100 meters past the left serpentine, there is the right branch, which leads you straight up to the saddle and then down in a gentle slope to the valley with vineyards. The path goes through the vineyards in the shape of a stream and afterwards it joins the macadam road, which leads to Stončica bay, next to which there is a restaurant.

The path starts from the ferry port and goes along the waterfront to the post office and the marine police station.

It continues on the right behind the police station, after that on the left under the vault, and later via stairways up. Having reached the top of the stairs turn left again, than go shortly along the street, turn right to the second narrow street, and then along the concrete uphill road to the next street. Turn left again, and going uphill come to the road. Follow shortly the right direction of the road to the point where the wide path branches off to the left .This serpentine path heads to a saddle. Here, on a small distance from the Chapel of St. Kuzma the path joins the macadam road. Keep on following the macadam road along beautiful vineyards -Vino polje, and then through the valley come to the sharp left bend.
Continue walking towards a small saddle and afterwards through spacious valley – Čajno polje to the next small saddle, which, in a gentle slope, leads to the village Žena Glava. From the top edge of the village walk on across wide ridge of derelict vineyards (the path partly follows the wide dry wall) upwards to the pine wood. After 20 minutes of hiking through the wood you will come to the saddle on the left which goes about 100 meters down to Tito's cave entrance.The path continues uphill through the rare pine wood, and then through macchia to the Chapel of The Holy Spirit (kapelice sv. Duha (564m). From here there is a magnificent view on Komiža and the whole island Vis including adjacent islands. East of the Chapel of The Holy Spirit there is a peak Hum (587m) with radar installation and denied access.

The path starts from the ferry port, leading first along the waterfront to the old part of the town Kut, it continues south through the wide valley uphill to the saddle on which there is an intersection of five old macadam roads.

 Next to the intersection there is a big cross after which you should go left and after 50-100 meters on the right you will see a good agricultural path going down to the edge of the field.
Cut the edge of the hill and cross again the macadam road. Just after cutting the road, the path starts to branch off. Take the left path and keep following the gentle ascent which, on its right side, provides a view on a smaller field – Veliko Ljubišće. Don't descent in the field but follow the same direction to a small saddle and down through several serpentines to the spacious field –Tiho braće polje. Cut it and keep going down to the asphalted road, which goes shortly left to the bay Milna.

The path has the same start point as the path 3. Having passed the crossroad, go sharply left and after 50-100 meters you will reach the right branch of the good path, heading down to the edge of the field.

Cut the edge of the field and cross again the macadam road. Just after crossing the road you will notice the path branches off. Take the right path and keep following the gentle ascent which, on its right side provides a view on a smaller field – Veliko Ljubišće, go shortly along the right edge of the field, cutting it and leaving behind you the hill Zečja glava (150m) descend on the village Podstražje. There is a macadam road from here to the village Brgujac, from which there is a footpath to the bay Zaglav.

The path has the same start point as the path 2. Shortly after the road branch for the Chapel of St. Cross (Sv. Križ) there is another branch of the derelict road which will take you to the village Podselje.

Cut the asphalted road and descend on a field next to the water-tank Lokva. To continue take the asphalted road turning first on the left, and after 50 meters on the right (way mark to Rukavac).
Following the road across the field, after approximately 1, 5 km start to descend. On a gentle wide left bend in the very canyon turn right following the footpath down to the village ( this path will shorten your way on the asphalt) Gornji Rukavac. Further, asphalted road will take you to the village and the bay Rukavac. From the village Rukavac there is a macadam road to the cape Polivalo which offers a beautiful view on adjacent islets; Ravnik, Budikovac...

The path starts the same way as the path 2. From the Chapel of St. Kuzma continue following the macadam road along beautiful vineyards– Vino polje.

Just past the vineyards there is an agricultural path, which makes a gentle descent on a small saddle next to the hill Zlatna strana (197m). From this point the road follows the south-west slope next to the elevation with the Chapel of St. Vid on it, surrounded by abandoned military facilities– burials etc.
The path continues down to the asphalted road. It goes shortly on the left and after approximately 80 meters on the right there is a branch of the asphalted road – way mark Marine Zemlje. Following the asphalted road after about 150 meters you will come to the crossroads, from which asphalted road goes gently to the right, while on the left the macadam road leads to the field (British airport from the Second World War – today a vineyard). Go on following the middle road next to the farmstead Belotovo, gently upwards. There is a substation on a small saddle. Immediately before the substation the path turns left and in a gentle slope heads to the bay Ruda.

The start of the path is the same as the one of the path 6, up to the way mark of Marina Zemlja.

 Further there is an asphalted road, about 1,5 km long which will take you to improvised parking area in the village Žužec .From this point go down along the sharp slope (there is a way mark on a concrete overhead transmission tower) to the splendid beach- Stiniva bay.

The path starts from the Medical Centre in Vis. At its west side after 50m on the left the path follows the paved stone street.

After approximately 100m (third small lane) it goes to the right and follows the concrete street. After about 20 meters it turns gently to the right and goes upwards. Shortly after that you will reach the twisty foot path which goes upwards, crosses the street, soon cuts another street and sharply in bands climbs to the saddle. From there the path follows the gentle slope to derelict macadam road; it goes on to the right following the road to the village Žena Glava.
From the top edge of the village continue by the wide ridge among abandoned vineyards (the path partly follows the wide dry wall) up to the pine wood. After 20 minutes of hiking through the wood you will reach the left extension which goes about 100 meters down to the entrance to Tito's Cave, and our path continues upwards firs

In the road from Vis to Komiža after 800m there is a left branch to Milna, Plisko Polje...

Just on the crossroads there is a branch of an old derelict macadam road which heads gently upwards. On the left side of the very saddle the road separates heading to the peak, approximately 200 m – Vela glava (353m) on which there is a former military facility. Our path continues in a gentle slope to the village Žena Glava.
From the upper edge of the village continue across the wide ridge among abandoned vineyards (the path partly follows the wide dry wall) up to the pine wood. After approximately 20 minutes of hiking through the wood you will come to the left extension heading about 100 meters down to the entrance to Tito's Cave. Our path continues upwards; first through rare pine wood and afterwards through macchia to the Chapel of The Holy Spirit (564).

Take the bus to the village Korito. Opposite the bus station there is a branch of asphalted road which soon becomes derelict macadam road.

 This twisty road heads upwards, and afterwards across the slopes of Golet's hill (Goletovo brdo) to the village Žena Glava. From the top edge of the village you should go on across the wide ridge among abandoned vineyards (the path partly follows the wide dry wall) up to the pine wood.
After approximately 20 minutes of walk through the wood you will come to the left branch heading about 100 meters down to the entrance to Tito's Cave. Our path continues upwards, first through rare pine wood and afterwards through macchia to the Chapel of The Holy Spirit (564).

Following the road from Vis to Komiža, after 2 km you will reach branch of an asphalted road, keep following it for about 1,5 km. Asphalted road becomes the macadam one which leads to the village Oključna.

Starting from Medical Centre in Vis, the path turns right behind the church, and goes up the narrow aslant lane.

 It cuts the asphalted road. From the last house there is a bit narrower road which heads to a small saddle, where it joins the firefighting road. After corner cut the upper firefighting road and keep on upwards. Shortly after that, there is a left branch of well visible path across the slopes of the hill Kupinovac and further to the hill Humac.
From the top go shortly back, and then following the edge of the vineyard (Donja Poljica) upwards come to another spacious field (Gornja Poljica). Having come to the edge of the vineyard turn left to macadam road which makes a gentle slope. When you reach the crossroads turn right to the asphalted road which leads to Vis.

This path goes north along the Vis waterfront following asphalted road along the coast to Stonca bay. Afterwards it follows the macadam road which heads upwards to a small saddle, where you have to turn left and pass through the village Rogačić to Parja bay.

This path follows the road from Komiža to Vis. On the first sharp corner the path continues straight upwards, and after the water-well it goes on in bends to the saddle with a Chapel of St. Mihovil on.

Just before the Chapel you have to turn left and follow the macadam road which goes upwards. After about 20 minutes of hiking there is a left branch of a good agricultural path which leads along abandoned arable lands and collapsed houses to the west ridge of the hill Mali Hum (515m).
Pass the ancient fortification facilities (buries, ditches, dykes) , come to the belvedere with a splendid view on Komiža , the whole Komiža bay and islands Biševo and Svetac. Then following the gentle slope reach the saddle and descent on the macadam road. Follow shortly the road until you come to quite prominent dry wall and then turn left. The bended path descends on Komiža.
 

The path starts from the Komiža waterfront following the Fishermen's street (Ribarska ulica) .After number 82 it turns right to the street Don Mihovil Pavlinović, and goes straight upwards.

The road continues to the right, towards Vis, while the path goes left, first shortly across asphalted, then macadam one and after several hundred meters it becomes an agricultural path. After several hundred meters the path branches off.
On the left side there is a road to Chapel of St. Blaž, while our path goes to the right. Pass a quite twisty ascent and come to the saddle Zagrebenje. Cut the macadam road and following the gentle slope come to the village Oključna. Leave behind yourself the old school, the church and following the macadam road come to the road which leads to Oključna bay.

The path starts the same way as the path 15. After branching, on the right side there is a path to Oključna, while our path goes left to the saddle on which there is a Chapel of St Blaž.

 It goes on to the valley where it joins the macadam road. Arrived here, keep following the twisty road until you come to the saddle with a very big alignment.
From this point one path heads north- west to the village Dragodid, and this goes west to the vineyard bordered with a dry wall next to which there is a water tank. Continue going west, partly on the dry wall and along the well visible path descending to the abandoned barrack. Now take the old macadam road which goes down to the bay with a concrete waterfront (Barjaška uvala) and further to the cape Barjaci where you will notice two destroyed cannon sockets.

The path starts same as the path 15. Passing the Chapel of St. Blaž the path goes on down to the valley where it joins the twisty macadam road which goes upwards to the saddle with a very big alignment.

It continues following the road across the slopes of the Wide hill (Široko brdo) to the spacious plateau with a view on the sharp northern coast of the island and the islands of Split archipelago.
The path continues following the road in a gentle slope to the saddle where, at the first dry wall on the right, the path branches and descends in bends on Komižu.
 

This path starts above the parking area of the hotel Biševo.

 First it follows the road and then it becomes a well visible agricultural path heading first gently and than sharply upwards, along the slopes of the hill Bonovo, to the saddle and further almost along the contour line at the altitude of about 50-80 m to an abandoned barrack. Several hundred meters before the barrack join the macadam road which past the barrack leads down to the bay with a concrete waterfront (Barjaška uvala) and further to the cape Barjaci where you will notice two destroyed cannon sockets.

The path starts near the school in the village Polje and it heads across the village Gornja Salbunara to the sandy bay Salbunara.

 From this point it goes to the adjacent sandy bay Porat, where there are several catering facilities. From Porta the path goes back to the village Polje.
